Giving Funds & Time

Giving Tuesday

At Hearst, colleagues are connecting with each other and with the communities where they live and work to spread kindness and make a difference. Every year on Giving Tuesday, colleagues pay it forward. In 2023, colleagues donated hundreds of hours of service to a range of nonprofits working to advance causes from food and shelter insecurity to children’s literacy to job-readiness.

The Hearst Gives Back Service Awards celebrate individuals and teams who have positively impacted communities through their service. More than 1,400 nominations were received from colleagues across the globe for Service Awards since 2022. As a thank-you for their dedication, honorees receive funds to donate to the 501(c)(3) organizations of their choice.
